LOCATION: 208 NORTH 2100 WEST, SUITE 100; SALT LAKE CITY, UT 84116 POSITION COMPENSATION: HOURLY-NON-EXEMPT ELIGIBLE FOR OVERTIME POSITION TYPE: PRN WORK SCHEDULES: TYPICALLY 12 HOUR SCHEDULES AVAILABLE TO COVER FULL TIME STAFF FOR TIME OFF - DAY, NIGHT, AND OVERNIGHT SHIFTS AVAILABLE PRN DEFINED: ABLE TO WORK ONE SHIFT PER TWO WEEK PAY PERIOD. THE MORE YOU ARE AVAILABLE THE MORE YOU WORK. * The MSTAR Clinician is responsible for using telehealth technology to provide assessment and referral services to patients in Mountainstar Emergency Departments and medical floors in need of level of care recommendations. * Offers crisis intervention, community resources, and coordinates and facilitates the development of a Discharge Safety Plan or inpatient placements as indicated for patients struggling with behavioral health concerns. * Functions as a member of the Interdisciplinary Patient Care Team, who communicates and receives referrals from other patient care providers to help meet the needs of the patient and family for a safe discharge. LICENSURE- CERTIFICATION- REGISTRATION: Requires licensure in the State of Utah as a Professional Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family or Behavioral Health Registered Nurse. Must be eligible for licensure in Alaska and Idaho. EDUCATION: Requires Masters Degree. EXPERIENCE:3-5 years of experience in psychosocial assessment preferred, preferably within an emergency medical model.
